ACCEPTANCE LETTERS WANTED!
We would like to recognize all of our students who have been accepted to college.  When your student has been accepted, please have them bring a copy of their acceptance letter to our office in W117.  We are excited about their acceptance letters and helping them reach their goals

College Entrance Testing
This year your student can begin taking the important standardized tests that judge college readiness. These tests include the PSAT, ACT, and SAT.
The ACT and SAT tests are college entrance examinations. These standardized tests are designed to allow colleges to judge all students on a common measurement. Scores on these two tests can balance differences in curriculum, grades, and teaching styles. These tests are predictors of how a student might perform academically during their first year of college.

ACT vs. SAT

Check college admission requirements to see what test your student needs to take. Many colleges will accept either test. Here are some of the differences:

Student Activities List
Colleges are looking for students who are well-rounded.  They look for students with good grades in more advanced courses and good test scores.  Another requirement that colleges are asking for in students is a wide variety of activities throughout high school.  These activities can include sports, UIL, clubs, and community service.  Students can keep up with their accomplishments by using the Student Activities List provided under our Group Files section on this website.
